How Much Do Electricians Make in the US

I wanted to give you this list to give you a better idea of how much you are worth in your state. I am putting together a list with information from the end of 2023. So I am going to start a list of how much we make as electricians make in other countries, its going to be interesting to say the least.

I made this list with the average of four resources. indeed.com, ziprecruiter.com, salary.com, and glassdoor.com. Indeed takes data from the companies that post what they are offering, this can make the state look like they are paying a much higher wage because the companies that post there salaries are in the bigger cities and they pay more then if they were in the rural areas. Then we have zip recruiter, they take the base compensation rate, and not the years of experience. Salary.com web site uses what they pay for from what they feel is well recognized companies. We need to agree that I added this number because it was a number that no one else has but it is a number and it cannot be generated by us with out any information. glassdoor.com is a web site that gets there information from a machine generated algorithm, I felt it was always to high for the state that it was reflecting. At any rate I needed the four to get the one number that could be what they pay in that state. Experience and credentials make up a well rounded electrian. And seeing what others who have more experience then we do gives us a greater inside as well.

I hope this helps you. I will start tabulating what electrician make per county per each state to give us a better idea of what we make as per each state and in that state each county.

Puerto Rico has a large problem, there grid is in trouble. Falling apart and in need of a lot of repair. So there are enticing electricians to come and repair but to fix an entire island is a large undertaking. So that zip recruiter web site got a $52.84 for journey men to come and live there for what ever time they can be away from there family is a hard pill to swallow.
