220.1 Scope. Don’t be scared, take one word at a time and you will see that is part of the code book just makes senses. I started righting this because I to had a hard time understanding what and how these articles fit into place. This part might make sense if you read the book. A lot of people don’t read the book. So I hope this blog helps you understand the code book. I just wanted to add that it was interesting how farm loads stand out in this article. Let’s see how they make it work. This article gives us a lot of information on calculations that will allow use to size wires and breakers. So take it one word at a time.

“This article provides requirements for calculating branch-circuit, feeder, and service loads. Part I provides general requirements for calculation methods. Part II provides calculation methods for branch-circuit loads. Parts III and IV provide calculation methods for feeders and services loads Part V provides calculation methods for farm loads.
