220.42 General Lighting. Demand factor means the ratio of the maximum demand during an assigned period upon an electric-power system to the load actually connected during that time expressed usually in percent. I think I went through this before, just in case I was not clear or you forgot what demand factor is or both. Regardless we need to use this table to size our cables and how many wires can go inside a piece of conduit(pipe).

“The demand factors specified in Table 220.42 shall apply to that portion of the total branch- circuit load calculated for general illumination. They shall not be applied in determining the number of branch circuits for general illumination.“
